We are moving. We rented a house last night in Burke, VA. It has 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, a large fenced in backyard for G to dig up bugs in and a big deck that we can sit and relax on (sounds like we're moving home)! There are several families with little kids on the block. It's not the big mansion we dreamed about, but the landlord is retired military and is willing to work with our orders that are piece-milled 3 months at a time and doesn't want first and last months rent from us. I think Tim got sick of me moping around about being stuck in this little apartment with nothing for G to do and no way for any of us to get more than 6 steps from the other person (OK, it is 12 steps if you go clear across the apartment). Burke has a small town feel but is 5-10 minutes from the "big city". The VRE (Virginia Rail something- the train) is 2 blocks from the house. It's 20 min from where we live now (and where Tim works). Anyway, we move in the day we return from Kansas after Christmas. We bought our bedroom suites for G & us yesterday. I am very excited and already feel like I have a home! YEAH!! We are blessed!!!
